It's Just Too Hard to Learn
Things we often forget are:
the Lack of Time, Lack of Access, Lack of Resources, Lack of Support, and Lack of Understanding.
Failure itself can be a learning experience. Dealing with technology I have learned to look at the failures when it comes to hardware, incompatibility of the software, poor connectivity, and the students and educators not allowing themselves time to understand, learn and adapt. I used different methods of being able to obtain information and give it to those in need. Active Learning/Listening and cooperating on both levels of teacher-student involvement can help the situation.
Thanks for the post. I am curious if you find that schools today are doing a better job providing students the support they need in regards to access?

Dr. G, I do believe that schools are providing better access to children in regard to technology and education. Although, Covid has been looked at, as trying times it has still afforded many opportunities. Children are now getting access to equipment that is allowed to be taken home and kept as long as they are using it for educational purposes and taking care of their devices. Providing laptops have also afforded opportunities for children to be more creative with their assignments. I know that watching my granddaughter do her homework when they were virtual, allowed for the teacher to be more of a visual teacher. She set up different programs, power point slides and also had the students chime in one by one or as a group when doing spelling words or math problems.
